Travis Heights is one of the oldest and established neighborhoods in South Austin. Homes were typically built in the 1930′s up to 1960, with many new homes being built on existing lots. The homes are usually 2-5 bedroom, range anywhere from 900 square feet up to 4000 square feet, which in most cases the larger homes are either new builds or existing homes with additions. The boundaries for Travis Heights are Riverside Dr, I-35, Oltorf and Congress Avenue.

Travis Heights Attractions and Entertainment
Stacy Park winds its way through the middle of the neighborhood and Ladybird lake is north of the neighborhood. Congress Avenue and all the dining, shopping and entertainment is located to the west of the Travis Heights neighborhood.

It is within the Austin ISD and Travis Heights is the Elementary school, Fulmore the Middle school and Travis the High school.
