Bouldin is an old established neighborhood just south of downtown and Ladybird lake. The homes were built anywhere from the mid 1930′s to early 1950s with new homes being built on existing lots. Usually the homes 2-5 bedrooms and anywhere from 800 square feet to 2500 square feet, depending upon their age and if they have had any additions done to them. The boundaries of Bouldin are Barton Springs, Lamar, Oltorf and South 1st Street.
Bouldin is within a 1 or 2 miles of downtown Austin depending on the home location.
Bouldin Attractions and Entertainment
Just north of the Bouldin neighborhood is Auditorium Shores and Ladybird lake. The Bouldin neighborhood is located by three very active main thoroughfares, Lamar Blvd, South First Street and South Congress. Each street has become known for the unique independent businesses and restaurants it offers local residents and visitors.

Bouldin is with the Austin ISD with Becker as the Elementary school, Fulmore as the Middle school and Travis as the High school.
