Barton View is a very small, relatively unknown neighborhood.   The homes were built in the 1960s and are usually 3-4 bedroom homes ranging in size from 1100 square feet up to 1500 square feet.   Barton View is accessed along the Highway 290w frontage rd between Westgate Blvd. and  Brodie Lane with the two main streets into the neighborhood being Dudmar Drive and Stearns Lane.

Barton View backs up to Barton Creek on the north end and is located within a 1/2 mile of the Sunset Valley shopping facilities, as well as being close by to Barton Creek Mall.
